Job Summary

As Project Manager for the ‘Underwriting Portal’ policy administration system/project you will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring the successful adoption of this system into the APAC region
  • Effective communication to business stakeholders, influencing them to ensure pragmatic outcomes
  • Influencing production support management in region and globally to ensure the needs of the program and stakeholders are met


The Position:


  • The Project Manager position is a leadership role, reporting to the IT Delivery Lead role and is accountable for the delivery of projects within a defined business or functional area of the APAC business
  • The Project Manager is primarily there to serve the needs of his/her team(s) and lead them in the right direction.
  • Seeking constructive outcomes in discussions, challenging traditional assumptions while remaining willing to compromise when it is beneficial to progress


The Candidate:


  • Good understanding of General Insurance systems, preferably Commercial Insurance systems
  • Have demonstrable practical experience of working with senior executives to prioritise needs in order to maximise the value delivered
  • Experience of designing and working within clearly structured frameworks and approach
  • Ability to complete User stories, Business Specifications, Use cases, Functional Specifications, Workflow Diagrams, Gap Analysis, Business Case, and ROI Analysis documents, as required
  • Have demonstrable practical experience of working with remote teams in a multi-site environment with previous exposure to remote programming teams.
  • Experience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and tool
