Job Summary

We are seeking a Cloud Engineer with strong experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Kubernetes, and networking to join our dynamic team. As a key player in our cloud engineering team, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing cloud infrastructure, migrating applications, ensuring security best practices, and working closely with customers to deliver tailored cloud solutions. You will also have the opportunity to work on Greenfield projects, helping us build and grow cloud solutions in enterprise accounts from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cloud Migration & Deployment
    • Lead the migration of applications and services to Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
    • Design, deploy, and optimize cloud-native solutions and ensure smooth application operations on the cloud.
    • Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure best practices for cloud infrastructure management.
  • Kubernetes & Containerization
    • Deploy and manage Kubernetes clusters for containerized applications across development, staging, and production environments.
    • Optimize Kubernetes environments for scalability, security, and performance.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in container orchestration and service management.
  • Networking & Security
    • Implement and manage networking solutions, including software-defined networking (SDN), routing, VPNs, load balancers, and firewalls.
    • Ensure robust security of cloud environments, including managing encryption, identity and access management (IAM), and understanding of attack vectors and penetration testing.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance network security and performance.
  • Customer Engagement & Greenfield Projects
    • Build and maintain customer relationships from the ground up, with a focus on prospecting and nurturing long-term partnerships.
    • Provide technical expertise to customers, ensuring the implementation of scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions.
    • Lead the design and delivery of Greenfield cloud solutions for enterprise clients, helping to establish new territories and opportunities.


Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5-10 years of experience in cloud engineering, DevOps, or a related field.
  • Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including cloud services, storage, networking, and computing resources.
  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, including deployment, management, and scaling of containerized applications.
  • Networking knowledge including SDN, routing, VPNs, load balancers, and firewalls.
  • Experience in implementing cloud security best practices, including encryption, IAM, and vulnerability management.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Terraform, and other automation tools.
  • Experience in customer-facing roles, with a focus on building and maintaining relationships in enterprise accounts.
  • Proven ability to work on Greenfield projects, designing and implementing cloud solutions from scratch.
