Major Global Bank is seeking for a Network Engineer with Load Balance expertise who will be based in Singapore and will be key to balancing the network security of the organization. The client is looking for a driven individual with a working knowledge of Network Load Balancing within the banking industry.

The Position:

• Supporting/troubleshooting and implementation of network security devices across Asia
• Management of network incidents escalations, incident and problem and security incident response
• Provide L2/L3 expertise (related to Linux, Squid Proxy, Broadcom Symantec BlueCoat Proxy, Infoblox DNS, F5 Load Balancer, open source load balancer HAProxy)
• Responsible to work with the respective network vendors’ support teams for the trouble-shooting, identification and resolution of network problems
• Handling of the critical network incidents under pressure situations to resolve in timely manner to minimize the business impact
• Attend to conference calls with other support teams for problem identification and resolutions
• Must have good communication skills and able to work independently
• Able to work under pressure and with minimal supervision

The Candidate:

• Diploma / Degree in Information Technology or equivalent.
• Minimally 5 years of working experience in a relevant Network Security Engineer position.
• Experienced in working with newest network technologies including Cisco ACI, SDWAN and implemented network devices with interface speeds up to 400 gbps.
• Proven track record in service providing or datacentre networking - CCNP, CCIE or equivalent.
• Proactive and independent individuals with passion in cloud and software defined networking.
• Strong communication and stakeholder’s management skills

Preferred Qualifications

• 10 years of experience in the Network Security space.
• Consulting experience is a plus.
• Experience with various Cisco equipment (routers, switches)
• Experience with F5, DNS, Checkpoint, Cisco firewalls, load balancers and WAN accelerators is desirable
• Strong stakeholder Management, verbal and written communication, team building and influencing skills.
• Experience working in an Agile environment.
