Job Summary

  • Work closely with stakeholders to ensure secure, resilient, and high-availability connectivity
  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of complex system engineering projects
  • Act as a subject matter expert, providing technical leadership and communicating solutions

Lead the design, development, and implementation of complex system engineering projects, focusing on cross-functional technical support, systems programming, and data center operations. Define hardware/software compatibility, coordinate subsystem design, and integrate total system solutions. Act as a subject matter expert, providing technical leadership and communicating solutions to diverse audiences, including executives and vendors. Manage multiple complex projects, lead special initiatives, and oversee teams. Solve complex problems through in-depth analysis and sound judgment.


Responsibilities:

Work closely with stakeholders to ensure secure, resilient, and high-availability connectivity across internal clients, business lines, and third parties. Serve as a Level 3 escalation point for operational issues while balancing business and security requirements. Some irregular hours may be required due to the global operating model.


Experience required:

 10+ years of experience in large-scale, complex network/perimeter security environments (preferably in banking/finance).

 Expertise in network security technologies: Firewalls (Fortinet, CheckPoint), IDS/IPS, Web Content Filtering (Bluecoat, McAfee), Load Balancers.

 Advanced troubleshooting of web connectivity and protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP, HTTPS, SSL, FTP, Socks, etc.).

 Strong understanding of network security principles, regulatory compliance, and ITIL processes.

 Experience in automation (Python, Ansible) and application/network diagramming.

 Leadership skills with a proven ability to drive execution and motivate teams.

 Professional certifications (e.g., CheckPoint, Fortinet, CCIE, CISSP) preferred.

 IT/Engineering degree or equivalent experience.
